1. Can I contact or sponsor the child/person I helped?
As our website states, Rescue Gifts are symbolic and represent many of the programs, projects, and tools that compose the IRC's work every day
around the world. This gift is symbolic of our work in places like Syria, Lebanon and the Congo.
By purchasing a Rescue Gift, you are allowing the IRC to deliver comprehensive and critical support to refugees and vulnerable families worldwide. Your gift will be used when and where it is most needed. And when combined with those of other donors, your Rescue Gift becomes a powerful means to survival, recovery, and the restoration of dignity for those in need of education, medical care, livelihood support, and other critical services. Read more about our life-changing work by visiting https://www.rescue.org/what-we-do.
2. When will the card arrive?
Printed cards can take up to 15 days to arrive in their destination. We will do our best to dispatch your card as soon as we can, however postal services and delivery times vary per country. If you think your printed card might not arrive in time, please contact our donor services team at firstname.lastname@example.org and they should be able to help by sending you an ecard in the meantime.
3. How do I make changes to the eCard I ordered?
If you would like to make any changes to the eCard that you ordered, please contact our donor services team at email@example.com and they will be happy to assist you.
4. My recipient or I didn’t receive the eCard yet. When should I expect to see the eCard?
We send eCards via email from Rescue Gifts (firstname.lastname@example.org) to the recipient(s) in the morning on the date you indicated in your order. If it does not appear when it should, please first check the Spam, Junk, Clutter, or Promotions folder, as our emails are occasionally diverted there. For further assistance, please contact our donor services team at email@example.com.
5. What should I do with the cards?
You can honor a friend or loved one with a beautiful printed card or eCard during the holiday season or for a special occasion. On each card, we will share that you have made a donation to the IRC in their name and share why this symbolic gift matters. When placing your order, you have the opportunity to write a personal and heartfelt message to your friend or loved one inside the card. Rescue Gifts provides the option to make a donation, order a card or eCard, or make a symbolic gift without sending a card. Please ensure you complete your order according to your preferences.
6. I entered the correct email address but received an error message and cannot complete the order.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience. This type of error message could occur if there are any additional spaces or punctuation marks in the email field, or if the recipient email verification field doesn’t exactly match. If the error persists, we recommend trying a different browser to make your donation. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact our donor services team at firstname.lastname@example.org. They will be happy to assist you.
7. I’m having problems making the order. The process stopped in the middle and the screen timed-out.
For security reasons, the page may time out if inactive for too long. If your order went through, you will receive an email confirmation and can complete your order by clicking the link in that email. If you did not receive the confirmation, please refresh the page and try again or contact our donor services team at email@example.com and they will be happy to assist you.
8. If I already completed my card order, can I make a change to the mailing address, email address, personal message, or image on the card?
If you are looking to make any changes to your order, please contact our donor services team at firstname.lastname@example.org with the order number and the changes that you would like to make. They will do their best to accommodate your request.
9. I received an email from the IRC saying I need to complete my order, but I already customized and sent my cards.
If you finalized your card immediately on ordering, you don’t need to complete the process again. We give this option by email in case people prefer to do it later.
10. I see multiple charges on my account.
Please email our donor services team at email@example.com for any refunds and please allow 5-6 business days for the refund to appear on your account.
12. Can I make a donation in memory of someone?
We are happy to accommodate tribute gifts. Please email our donor services team at firstname.lastname@example.org with the order number and the recipient’s information, including the address where you want to send a notification card or the email address if you prefer an eCard. Also let us know if you have a personal message to include in the card.

15. Can I order a printed card in a different language?
Unfortunately we are unable to print your cards in a different language at this time. If you wish to send the card in a language other than English we suggest you opt for a blank card, send the card to your own address, and personalize it as you wish by hand before passing or mailing it to your recipient.
16. What is inside the newborn baby kits?
As our website states, Rescue Gifts are symbolic and represent many of the programs, projects, and tools that compose the IRC's work every day around the world. One of these tools is a newborn baby kit. These kits supply mothers in places like Zimbabwe with essential items they need to care for their child such as baby soap, Vaseline, towels, booties, clothing, diapers, and cotton wool.
